I just signed up. Where do I start?
The recommended flow is: 1. Go to
Resume Builder and upload or paste your existing
resume. 2. Run Job Finder to
discover which job titles match your background.
3. Paste a specific job posting into
Tailor to Job to get your ATS score and an
optimized version of your resume. 4. Use
Interview Prep to practice before your real
interview. You can start with any step — but this order gives the
best results.
What does the Free plan include?
The Free plan requires no credit card and includes: 5 resume
generations per month, 5 cover letters per month, 1 Job Finder use
per month, and basic interview questions for 1 job title. ATS
scoring, tailored resumes, hiring probability, and career insights
are available on paid plans.
What is the difference between Pro and Premium?
Pro ($19/month): 20 resumes, 20 cover letters, 3
tailored resumes, basic ATS scoring, 9 Job Finder uses. No hiring
probability or career insights.
Premium ($39/month):
60 resumes, 60 cover letters, 12 tailored resumes, deep ATS
analysis, 20 Job Finder uses, hiring probability, and career
insights. Best for active job seekers.
Resume
How do I upload my existing resume?
Go to Resume Builder in your Dashboard. You can
either paste your resume text directly, or upload a file (PDF,
DOCX, or TXT). The platform will extract the content and reformat
it into a clean professional layout. Note: uploading reformats
your existing content — it does not rewrite or improve it.
My resume is not generating. What should I do?
First, check that you have remaining uses on your plan (visible in
your dashboard stats). If you do, try refreshing the page and
submitting again. Make sure you have pasted content into the
resume field — the generator cannot work with an empty input. If
the issue continues, contact support with a
description of what happened.
I reached my resume limit. What now?
Your usage limit resets at the beginning of each month. If you
need more before then, you can upgrade your plan or purchase extra
sessions as a one-time add-on from your Dashboard under
Manage Billing.
The AI changed my resume content in a way I didn't want.
All AI-generated content is a starting point — it is expected and
recommended that you review and edit the result. The Resume
Builder adapts your content to fit a professional format, which
may involve rephrasing. You are always in control of the final
version. Copy the output, make your edits, and use it as your own.
ATS & Job Match
My ATS score is low. What does that mean?
A low ATS score means your resume does not closely match the
specific job description you pasted. This usually means missing
keywords, different job titles, or mismatched experience. Use the
Tailor to Job feature to generate an optimized
version of your resume for that specific posting. Scores above 70%
are generally considered strong.
The ATS score is not showing up.
ATS scoring is available on Pro and Premium plans only. If you are
on the Free plan, upgrade to access this feature. If you are on a
paid plan and the score is not appearing, make sure you have
pasted both your resume and the job description, then try again.
If it still does not work, let us know.
Job Finder is not showing me any results.
Job Finder needs enough information to analyze. Make sure you have
provided a reasonably detailed background — at least your current
or most recent role, key skills, and years of experience. Very
short or vague inputs may not produce useful results. Try adding
more detail and running it again.
Interview
Interview questions are not loading.
Make sure you have selected a job title or pasted a job
description before starting the interview. The system generates
questions based on what you provide — without that input, there is
nothing to generate from. Also check that you have remaining
interview uses on your plan. If the problem persists, refresh the
page and try again.
My interview score is low. Is that bad?
Interview scores are meant for practice and self-improvement — not
as a judgment of your ability. A lower score points to specific
areas to work on. Read the feedback carefully, note what was
missing or unclear in your answer, and try again. The goal of the
simulator is to help you improve before the real interview, not to
predict whether you will get the job.
What does the hiring probability percentage mean?
Hiring probability is a statistical estimate based on your resume
match and interview performance. It is an informational indicator
— not a guarantee or prediction of a real outcome. It is designed
to help you understand where you stand relative to the role, and
to motivate targeted improvement. A low score means there is room
to strengthen your application, not that you will not get the job.
Account & Billing
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Dashboard and click Manage Billing.
This opens your Stripe billing portal where you can cancel your
subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of
your current billing period — you keep access until then. No
penalties apply.
My payment failed. What should I do?
Go to your Dashboard → Manage Billing to update
your payment details or retry the payment. Payments are processed
by Stripe — GuessToYes does not store your card information. If
you are unable to resolve it through the billing portal,
contact us with your account email and we
will help.
I forgot my password and can't log in.
On the login screen, click Forgot password? and
enter your email address. You will receive a reset link within a
few minutes. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive. The
reset link is valid for 1 hour.
Can I get a refund?
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where
required by applicable consumer protection law in your country. If
you believe you are entitled to a refund under local law,
contact us within 14 days of the charge
with your account email and a description of the issue.
Technical Issues
The page is not loading or shows a blank screen.
Try these steps in order: 1. Hard refresh the
page (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
2. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
3. Try a different browser.
4. Disable browser extensions temporarily. If
none of these work, contact support and
tell us which browser and device you are using.
The platform is running very slowly.
AI generation (resumes, cover letters, interview questions) takes
between 10 and 30 seconds depending on complexity — this is
normal. If a page itself is slow to load, check your internet
connection first. If the issue is consistent across multiple
sessions, let us know.
My file upload is not working.
Supported formats are PDF, DOCX, DOC, and TXT. Make sure your file
is one of these types and is not password-protected. If the file
is very large or heavily formatted, try copying and pasting the
text directly instead — this often works better than uploading. If
the problem continues, contact support.
I keep getting logged out.
Sessions expire automatically for security reasons. Make sure your
browser is not set to clear cookies on close, and that you are not
using private/incognito mode. If you are being logged out
unexpectedly during active use,
contact support with details about when it
happens.
No results found for your search. Try different keywords or
contact us directly.
